Sully Carlson, age 7, was chosen as Student of the Month for his first grade class at Woodland Elementary. The theme for the month was "Empathy," so Sully was picked for his ability to show empathy toward his classmates. In addition to his academic achievements, Sully has been working on his soccer ball juggling skills and a killer slap shot. A source close to the youngster reported that he has been diligently working to perfect his form in both sports. Although unavailable for comment, it was rumored that Sully will be taking a break from his strenuous work and heading for a well-deserved vacation on the beach.
